Hidden Objects

 I have finished doing my hidden objects. I have put the code for the objects to disapear when they are clicked. They are still not hidden but later I am going to hide them. It wasn't hard to put the code for the objects. All I had to do was convert the objects into symbols and put code. Drawing the objects was harder for me than putting the code for it.

Drawing Background

 I have been drawing my background for a really long time especially since I have messed up with tracing it. The color wouldn't fill and I had to re trace my picture. My picture was all in one layer so I couldn't hide my objects so I have to trace it again. So  I had to finish drawing my background It didn't turn out great though.

Paper Prototype

Making a paper prototype helped me think of how my game would be and look like. It also gave me ideas of whereto hide the hidden objects. I enjoyed drawing it in paper because it gave me many ideas. For example it gave an idea of to put a list of the dates. They would have to find the objects in order of when to find them.

Choosing Learning Topic

 Today I had to think of what to choose for a learning topic for my game. I've chosen for my game was about the thirteen  colonies. I wanted a game that could teach middle schoolers about the thirteen colonies and how they were discovere and when. I think this would be a good topic to to make a game about because I can hide the dates with dates that dont have todo with discovering the thirteen colonies.

Plan Game Scene

 My game scene is going to have a back thats going to loo llike the in the 1700's. I would hide the objects in there. Some of the hidden objects will be covered by other objects that are not hidden objects. Most of the stuff that I will hide would be dates, names and colonies.

Reflection on what I Learned by Playing this Games

Today I have been playing games. This games were fun but not a that much. What Ive learned from this games that I have played, was math, english, and science. These games were all educational. They all were hidden object game. I think the game that are hidden objects can sometimes be educational but not all of them because all you have to do is find the stuff and you can click just any where and find it with out learning any thing. Some I deas that I got from these games was that I can high light the stuff from the game which I thought would be cool to do when they found the items or stuff. 

Back To School

 It is the first month of being here at school. So far I havent had any problems during the first month of  school.It has been hard because our schedules have been changed and we havent been able to really caught up into things in classes. It was hard for the first week because there were so many students missing classes. So far Ive been happy with the schedule that I have. Its hard that we have to change classes and cant really be settled with just one schedule. Sometimes the classes would be up to 50 students and couldn't be able to fit them all.
 My favorite thing about this year is that we have more room and have our own gym to do sports in. I've also liked that there are more sports and can do more stuff than last year. I like that it has our own big stage.  Some of the things I dont like is the food that they serve for lunch. Some of it is good but sometimes that when we get the it is too cold or under cooked. Some classes are like hard for me and I cant really keep up.Things have been good for me. I like that the school is almost getting settled. I hope to see the more new stuff. I hope that by the end of this month or before they have everything settled down. I also hope they dont do the same mistake the next year and keep everybody settled down as soon as possible.
